		<description>This is fascinating stuff and leads me into lots of speculations about modelling historical events as non-linear equations (and about feedback in unstable situations) which I'd have to be more awake to think about... but I was mainly commenting here to let you know of a rare (and sad) example of our respective blogs' subjects coinciding - the veteran comics artist Angus MacBride died the other day according to http://gadsircomics.blogspot.com/2007/05/angus-and-amazons.html and MacBride was more famous for his illustrations of military history (especially classical history)...</description>
